The irony of this photo was the two people that rode by after taking it! People are adjusting to new transportation modes, but the City refuses to accommodate. This could be changed by Councillors, however one thing is clear they are all very afraid of doing anything that potentially increase taxes.

Clearly there is a demand if busses are packed. Just need the City and OCTranspo to step up and address it.

Hi Glen, just following up on this. It's been two weeks and the bike lanes remain the same (actually more snow on them now). Unsure why the City is failing to act on this.

Driver behavior is very difficult to change, but a lot of this can be addressed done though municipal road design and investment in transit and active transportation.
