I’m a yote that thrives on coffee and chaos and loves to collect clocks, plants, ideas, and stories. Pleased to meet ya!
This is how I act when I see a bear (gay) as well!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this story is! Its grapple with hedonic joy vs. the pitfalls of the strong eudiamonic message of religious doctrine stunned me. There’s nothing I love more than a story that makes me think, so I cannot recommend a quick listen/read of this story enough!!
My newest short story, Rapture, is now available in text AND in audio via The Voice of Dog podcast. Please enjoy!

I think “Wicked: For Good” was better than the 1st film. I thought the embellishments were very well done! Listening to “No Place Like Home” for the first time brought on feelings I didn’t realize were still there (from being gay in a Christian church) and I totally cried in theater lol! 10/10

I picked up a vegan pamphlet today and started reading it and I’m like “oh, he’s got a point” and now I’m realizing that I guess I’m slowly morphing into that stereotype SJW that conservatives fear: gay, agnostic, empathetic, morally, anti-capitalist…possibly vegan? Idk if I love it or hate it! lol

Elias Bayles, a young jackrabbit, is looking for work to pay off debt collectors. After getting a tip from a friend, he makes his way to an abandoned mine to scavenge for tools to trade for cash. A pretty simple job, but feelings of ominous dread creep while traveling though the arid chaparrals. 🏜️👻

Last night, I was finally able to make some more progress writing my little western/horror short story!! I’m loving the direction it’s going, and it’s opening up more paths to continue with yet more short stories! Maybe some day I’ll feel confident enough to post them. 🌵

AI/generative art feels like the liminal space equivalent to real architecture. It’s just unnerving…and not in the cool way.

Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

Just finished “The Haunting of Hill House” by Shirley Jackson! Gosh, this one stays with you! It’s unrelenting and leaves you apprehensive, clenching your jaw while you can’t take your eyes off the page. I’m still trying to process the ending, well, the whole book really. Definitely would recommend!

Just finished listening to @thevoice.dog narrate “Expectations” by @pendoggo.bsky.social!
It was a cute story. I appreciate how all the relationships and conversation flows naturally! I love the discussion it prompts regarding our expectations around how others treat our queerness. Brilliant story!
