TikTok could be going away again, but I'm not seeing (or feeling) the fervor to save it this time. It just hasn't been the same since the blackout and I'm sad for what we lost. I hope we find it, and each other, again.

I'm as much a creature of comfort and convenience as the next white, privileged American, but we have got to realize that we cannot DoorDash a revolution. We have to be willing to get uncomfortable and suffer a little bit if we want things to change.

America is severely lacking in critical thinking skills, evaluating context, and understanding nuance. I'm not saying it's because our education system has been systematically sabotaged, but I'm also not saying it's not.

I never had MySpace, but I did have Xanga. Middle school me felt like a straight up computer coder when I'd copy/paste some sketchy code I found on Yahoo so that my site would have some background music. Bring that back.
