I have a still working DS lite which can play GBA & DS carts and has a battery that lasts forever when switched off. I will always keep it around for nostalgia.
The last DS I bought and still have, is the Galaxy style Nintendo New 3DS XL. the most comfortable in the hand, if not the most portable.
