Black codes never really disappear from the south. In this case, though, race isn't stated in the bill, LA has a high % of Black (and poc) who are more vulnerable to being houseless.
Louisiana is considering a bill that would criminalize homelessness, and it's worse than you think. It would even create a special homeless court system to more efficiently fine the unhoused or throw them in prison for up to two years, complete with hard labor.

Let's keep it a buck and be honest that America wants free labor, and prison/detention labor wasn't just doing it for them anymore. By free labor, of course, i meant legal slavery.

To put it blantely, this is a very white perspective. Population for marginalized folks in red states is high, and those states also have a history of voter suppression. Let's think critically and not leave behind vulnerable plp bc your way of life is now threatened
We need to take back the United States and then secede from these crazy, welfare Red States forever! They can have their own hell. We can create great & amazing things for the world and the US. 86% of Federal funding comes from Blue states, the Red states suck us dry & hate us 4 giving them help!
