Big scare & spectacular save in #lab at CTFM this week: mislabeled oxygen & nitrogen lines caused diethylzinc fire in a glovebox. Perfect reaction by the team achieved containment inside the box, quick cleanup enables the start of rebuild <48 hr later!

Our @FAU_Germany students invited me to contribute to the "Echt oder Fake" ("Real or Fake") contest & I told a story about sourcing low-alpha lead for #semiconductor & #physics applications. I was awarded the title "Hero of the fight against #fake news". Will carry it proudly!

Our @FAU_Germany students invited me to contribute to the "Echt oder Fake" ("Real or Fake") contest & I told a story about sourcing low-alpha lead for #semiconductor & #physics applications. I was awarded the title "Hero of the fight against #fake news". Will carry it proudly!
