Loving that thread mutes are currently broken, just like in the original hellthread, so I can’t remove The Discourse from my notifications.

Prescription wraparound is tricky if you need substantial correction, but you can probably get sphere -5 to +2 or thereabouts without too much trouble.
If that's not enough, the term for having something opaque in the gap between the frame and your temple is "side shields".
