Mentally revisiting "All The Kings Men". Early post-WWII novel by Robert Penn Warren. Told a fictionalized tale of Huey Long the Louisiana Blowhard who bamboozled his way in and out of power a century ago. Broderick Crawford played him in a very salient movie. I would recommend book & movie.

Where's "Public" in PBS if it depends solely on rich folk? The UNC System's job = Educate the public for the public good. Done partially over public airwaves using PBS. It is true that some folk don't like that. People can be manipulated better when less informed or worse, cleverly lied to.

Going through my deceased wife's stuff. First, kids are such great humans before they learn to pull things back. Second, I love all my Mrs. Andrewses - Mom, grandma and both wives even though they are all gone. Third, Susan the recipient especially deserved it. Gotta love those women, esp. Moms!
