Most American Catholics, Bishops, and Cardinals *ARE* right wing. They’ve voted for Trump in 2 of the past three election cycles (if not all 3). I don’t remember the final breakout for 2020.

Flynn is Catholic. The Supreme Court is 6/9 Catholic. Right-wing Catholics are prominent in Trump's administration.

But obviously most American Catholics are not right-wing.
