Here we go, my followers.

Now that the election is over and people are once again talking about electoral reform, I'm going to start promoting my preference.

This lovely Aussie explains this system beautifully.

It still produces majority governments and also blocks the fringes.

Mamdani walked in with an agenda. Trump walked out repeating it.
Trump’s Oval Office Surrender to Zohran Mamdani
In a stunning White House meeting, Donald Trump abandoned his party’s narrative and embraced New York City’s mayor-elect, while Mamdani stayed laser-focused on issues facing the city.

Im watching the news conference with Trump and Mamdani and its extremely cordial and flattering.

Is he trying to seem more human now that he knows the Epstein ghosts are nipping at his heels?

Its almost like Im watching the twilight zone. There is a fifth dimension; it is where politicians agree.

People who hold these racist opinions should NOT be allowed to run for office.

PERIOD.
Why do they hate?

I can’t think of a single thing that the US has that Canada doesn’t, other than the tropical beaches in the winter.

Canada has equally stunning landscapes, city life, and tourist attractions from coast to coast.

If you can’t find it in Canada, look to countries other than the US.

I believe that as we get used to the current level of disconnect, that we will then move further away.

Why? The more distance there is between us, the more we realize how fucked up they are. With that realization, it becomes easier to get rid of more.

“Stupid is as stupid does”

So sayeth the great Forrest Gump.
1. This is a trade war. We cannot help but be involved in U.S. Politics. It's not meddling, it IS politics.
2. If he cannot understand our autonomy and independence, he isn't qualified to be Emb. Shouldn't be here.
3. We will not be bullied.

I feel the same way about the Jordan Peterson law, Bill 13, in Alberta.

Our ancestors lost their lives defeating the master race a-holes.

Any government that protects hate speech, I see as a Fascist government, and we owe it to our fallen soldiers to condemn this to the extreme. #ableg #abpoli

This is really important to our family.

Our own daughter got sucked into sexual discussions with an AI she was just drafting a story with.

The school called us when they realized what was happening.

I read some of the discussion, and the AI was clearly prompting her for more.

As a dedicated “hobby” tree grower, cutting down old growth trees makes my blood boil.

How fucking stupid can humans get, to be cutting down the things holding back the floodgates of climate change?

There must be a country wide ban on cutting old growth trees.

What I love about Carney the most is that he appears to not give a shit about Trump’s antics.

He just quietly keeps talking to other people to make deals, ignoring Trump like the petulant child that he is.

This is most excellent.

Next, I want to see Indigenous language as children’s options in high school. If i could choose, I’d rather have my daughter learn Cree or Inuktuk, than French or German or Japanese.

We must focus on all the ways we can look inward on ourselves, & make amends for the past

Few things are more important to me than Canadians engaging in true reconciliation with the rightful Indigenous caretakers of this land our ancestors stole from them.

Ignorant people who hold such uneducated opinions should not be allowed to hold public office.
