First impressions of the bipartisan crypto bill from Senate Ag:

The definition of a digital commodity relies on transfers "...without necessary reliance on an intermediary..." Nowhere in 155 pages does it appear to consider whether a validator is an intermediary.

These are not serious people.

A new draft crypto bill from Senate Ag is out. I have explained what an incredibly ignorant definition this is, over and over. It's a good proxy for how serious the drafters of this bill are.

Google docs are cryptographically secure digital ledgers.

Here's what the third day of elementary school looked like in Mount Pleasant, Washington DC.

People who are too cowardly to name names and live under the reputational protection of their Senate appointed spouse for 500 dollars, Alex.

MPD in Mount Pleasant DC suggesting our neighbors didn't show up to a weekly charity food distribution because of a light misting.

Seems unlikely people don't want to eat or feed their kids because their empty grocery bags might get wet.

This is a hellscape.

State of DC: ICE and MPD are starving out Mt Pleasant community members - people are too scared to come to the weekly neighborhood Catholic Charities food distribution.

Traitors to the city they swear to protect.

Sherrod Brown is an incredibly bright hope for Ohio in 2026.

Interesting that Gillibrand and the DSCC are deadset on giving him a crypto headwind. Republican Senator Tim Scott to crypto conference - "thank you for getting rid of Sherrod Brown"

How many ICE Officers does it take to tear down a banner?

[How many?]

9 - 1 to cut the zip ties, 1 to film, and 7 to argue over whose dildo they're going to leave behind in a public park a couple blocks from an elementary school.

We're just going to keep making it bigger and keep fighting back harder

The Mount Pleasant anti-ICE sign is back and bigger. As I took this picture, a group of MtP neighbors started gathering around suspiciously LEO-ish people who wouldn't identify themselves.

If you film and follow, they get in their cars and leave.

Stand up. Fight back. Best neighborhood in DC.

Crypto unifying to demonize our work at the SEC but fracturing when it comes to actual policymaking was completely foreseeable.

I also have a question about how defi has leaders. This may be the first disembodied whip operation in Congress.

History in the making.

Coinbase sponsored Trump's North Korea cosplay. They also own part of, and share profits with, Circle. Circle is a stablecoin company that just got a huge favor from Dem Senators like Gillibrand, Warner, Gallego, and 14 others.

It required 60 votes. They could have blocked it.
