Gee Officer Krupke. I remember leaving the family room, walking to the kitchen, and asking my mother what words like bastard and S.O.B. meant. She calmly explained them to me. I returned to the family room and listened again with new knowledge. (Played Baby John eventually too)

My husband saw the OBC, and we had the OBCR in my home. The night we met my husband made a very subtle reference to Babbette which I got. We’ve been together almost 30 years now. Our children’s first Broadway experience was the Kristin revival at age 8. Love this show!

When we lived four blocks west of third base at Wrigley (one block from Addison & Southport) from 2009-2017, that was a daily ritual. In town? Out of town? Day game? Night game? Concert? Move the car or no?

Husband and I saw Arcadia in French at La Comedie Francaise in 1999. Supposedly the first time they had presented a non-French play. Very French production. We had a copy of the script with us even though we both speak French. Quite a memorable evening at the theater.

YUP! And Raiders and Strictly Ballroom and most of the Disney Animated features (as a Disney Dad it was my duty to expose them to the classics while enjoying everything released in the last 20 years). And Mamma Mia (daughter was obsessed with it as a 3 yo while son had to alternate it with CARS.

Travel to my birthplace of Peru, Indiana the third week of July for the World’s largest amateur circus. I grew up hanging upside down from trapeze bars. I have no fear of heights. A 65+ year tradition. www.perucircus.com

All three of these are longtime favs. Julie’s includes old English carols not often heard today. And the first song I must hear on the day after Thanksgiving is Barbra’s Jingle Bells? The Carpenters’ album is basically one long medley.
