I highly recommend this book. I’m not sure I’ve read anything that so clearly identifies the problem of the precariat. It is thoughtful, compassionate and fascinating in its analysis of “pragmatic law”.

Yet it now faces closure because of ESRC grant cuts.

Some 66 of us Parliamentarians (38 MPs and 28 peers) have signed a cross-party letter urging ESRC + UKRI to reconsider their decision.
