Distraught
I saw a bunch of threads here and on Reddit yesterday about being able to reserve seats, and many new email accounts were made lol.

Yes, I have done this and instructed some family who's MP is in support of this mess.

They also have issues with bank runs, a collapsing housing market, and they have abandoned many socialist practices like rent control, workers rights, and they don't allow any unions outside of the ACFTU....

In 2024 I saw them in Ottawa at the NAC. The show was a step change in its delivery with beautiful and unique scenes displayed against the band and the wall behind them. This show included new members, instruments, and was admittedly less energetic but far more immersive. I love BADBADNOTGOOD. ✌️

The second time I saw them was at Fort York In Toronto in 2017. It was just days after the tragic fires in Fort McMurray. Charlotte Day Wilson performed a beautiful acapella cover of 'Love is a losing game' in honor of the town and its people. I think about it often.

While this is true, they are actually designed by civil engineers so that children and teens can catch some sick air on their bikes.

For some reason, blue collar workers have found a home with the CPC, when in reality they would benefit the most from a Pro-Union party i.e. NDP. Unfortunately the NDP have failed to see that and have strayed from their socialist roots in favour of promoting identity issues that don't resonate.

Frankly this narrative is insulting and exactly the type of issue that makes the political division greater. It reads as 'conservatives are not intelligent'. You get this data for many reasons but largely because it doesn't take a degree to do many blue collar labour intensive jobs.

I'm sure the difference in regret is within the margin of error. I voted NDP and I regret nothing. Trudeau never doing voting reform irks me every time I'm at the ballot box. There were definitely 'strategic' vote splitters in some ridings (eg. Windsor) who regret letting a conservative win.

Ah I see, good assessment.

The Douglas Mattresses must have lulled them into complacency.

The Canada-centric content is why I come back! Your viewpoint from SK is also unique and helps a 'Laurentian' like me understand some nuance that is hard to find elsewhere.

How is South Africa in that group? Would it not be the UK?

Yes it is insightful. Mostly to show that if the govt wanted to, they could lower other prices as well through funding antitrust/competition law but instead we focus on these bandaid solutions that help only a fraction of the population.

This is not really an insight? The government started subsidizing the service. I'm sure the true cost is still climbing with everything else but the consumer doesn't see it. Is your argument that we should subsidize other goods or services?

We did it before! We should do it again, but this time the trains shall go faster.
