And no, I don't want to have some crappy AI dub on my Videos on standart. My english is not perfect but it's better as whatever this crap is.

Also it says it's auto dubbed in a crappy German AI voice because Youtube thinks it enhances my experience replacing lively voices with a monotone machine. Thanks youtube. I hate it.

I haven't tried drawing in a while. I wonder how I would improve today with more experience in art etc.

While cleaning I also found this old relic and book of shame of the "western" manga community. I forgot I had it. 😂

The German Cover the book "Shojo - Mädchen Mangas zeichnen und malen" by Christopher Hart. These "manga teaching' books are infamous for inconsequent drawing styles and mostly low artistic quality. For many it was the first "manga" drawing guide in the beginning to mid 2000s.

Speaking of cosplay stuff. I have a whole folder of historical reasearch material I want to reference as inspiration to make the cosplay come to life even more.
I still have a long road ahead but I hope to get a lot of history details in there.

Anyone interested in seeing it next to my progress?

This piece was made 1450-1460 and is now at the St. Annen Museum.

A photo of a Dalmatic (a tunic used in liturgy clothing). The main color is a patterned blue italian velvet and many gold colored gold embroided boarders.
It's presented in a glass showcase in the Museum Schnütgen.
This piece was made in 1450. Due to it's age the velvet is fading a little on the lower end of the garment.

As we say: Baby steps. It takes a long time but I like the look of my pattern on my velvet.
Missing the emblem of seiros but the overal outlines of the pattern are done.

What I'm working on right now: Rhea's cope (yes that's the official english term for this religious clothing).

I'm plucking the pattern into the velvet by hand while watching movies. This will take a ling while......

Close up of my progress. You can thee the bright lines on the velvet, which are the areas I removed the pile to mimic the velvet pattern weaving of 16th century cleric copes.

Bigger view of my progress on my velvet fabric, as it lays on my tailor dummy. The pattern in "leaf" shape needs repeat 7 times vertically and 12 times horizontally. I finished the first vertical line and started the top 2 horizontal lines. Guess I will have to watch lots of movies the next month.

Zu sehen sind zwei ballen Samt-Stoffe aus Baumwolle nebeneinander. Links sieht man den Rest des original weißen Stoffs. Rechts ist der gleiche Stoff, der in schwarzen Tee getunkt wurde. Er hat jetzt eine gelbliche/champagner Farbe angenommen.

Wenn man die Feiertage bei den Eltern nutzt, um in deren Badewanne Stoff in einer Menge Tee zu baden. Just Cosplay things....

Eine weiße Badewanne voller Tee in dem ein (ehemals weißer) Stoff einweicht. Am arand der Badewanne liegen gebrauchte Teebeutel und die geöffnete Schachtel mit weiteren Teebeuteln.

Man merkt wirklich, wie weit die LotR Filme immer noch durch die Fankultur gelebt werden.

Die ernsten Szenen sind totenstill im Publikum und die Musik dazu wirkt unglaublich. Bei der größe an Publikum echt beeindruckend
