One of my fabric suppliers pulled one of my longtime staples off of the bulk order list, making it significantly more expensive. I need to have that order done in two days, and I keep doubting my decisions on what I need.

Now I keep catching myself glancing out of windows expecting to see the little fluffy tabby playing around our house. And she’s never going to be there again.

We had talked about bringing her into our home, except that we already have so many cats and too many of them are territorial. And though we couldn’t make her another house cat, she chose us. We were her people. I can’t help but feel like I failed her.
