I had to cut down a 200 year old tree today. And I am heartbroken. It was part of why I wanted to live here but damage done before I had bought the house laid it low and created a rot deep inside.

And I wake up to snow. Kinda early this year. I was enjoying the change of the leaves.

A pleasant rediscovery

I think these two have the right idea about Mondays.

Dinner tonight was chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes. (apparently a midwest thing) the flavor was great the mashed potatoes was kind of weird.
