and it just baffles me because like….obviously the point was missed completely. plenty of people have exhaustively explained the point of inclusive/broad terminology and anyone who bothers to actually listen will actually learn something.

the part that’s really baffling is the complete switch up…

this of course always became even “worse” when inclusive/broad terminology was used anywhere (like “people who menstruate” / “people with breasts” etc). They’d go on tirades about how, somehow, this was both erasing women and reducing them down to things like lactating or having a uterus…

I miss everything about the QSMP, the collaboration and the silliness, and of course the language/cultural sharing. it was an amazing time for Minecraft/gaming community, especially me during a difficult time. It brought so much joy. But I don’t want a reset 🤞🏻.

I think it’s another case of people who say “i don’t like ANY changes to websites i use” combined with people who have a weird hate for all types of security features/fraud prevention….(reminds me of people being mad about Minecraft chat reports because they want to use slurs “privately” 💀)
