The Last Showgirl

It has committed performance in a film that feels somewhat lacking.

Each role is performed with sufficient strength to maintain engagement; however, the film is hampered by its rough edges and a lack of the intended emotional resonance.

Dog Man

An insane, chaotic, manic children's adventure.

The film runs at a very fast pace, not giving the audience the chance to take breathe.
For children they will love it, for adults a headache might form.

Animation is bright and colourful and does enough to entertain

The Monkey

A entertaining enough splatterfest

The film manages to meld together so fantastic gory deaths with some dark humour however it is let down by its uneven pacing.

The film does have a manic style of classic 90s horror and will provide and enjoyable Friday night.

Popeye's Revenge.

From the same people who brought us such classics this year as Mouse of Horrors and Piglet, this is another awful dud.

Whilst not as bad as the other two mentioned this is still a car crash of stupidity.

Pretty much terrible with everything it does.

Captain America: Brave New World

Another Marvel Dud

From it's very uneven pacing to its messy storyline, the latest superhero adventure just falls flat.

The lack of excitement or tension doesn't help and the one note baddies are just another nail in the coffin.

Street Trash (2025)

A unfunny rehash of the 1987 troma-esq goop fest that is saved by its practical effects.

The film has a one note joke that it sticks with from beginning to end and even then it's not funny the first time.

The practical effects though are it's only saving grace.

Nosferatu
An extremely well crafted and acted nothing romances that only slightly falters in its latter half.

The movie is sumptuous to look at, the score is dramatic and eerie when needed and the acting for the most part is very strong.
The slight flimsy story in the final half is it's let down.
