They start sharing a bed a bit before their relationship took a turn for passion. Sauron initiated this process, but in the end it all turned out completely different than he imagined: he did get a bright idea of seducing Celebrimbor long before he turned into "Annatar", as this would bind the smith to him even further, and he did start to sweet-talk his way deeper and deeper into his personal space, but all those ideas have suddenly shattered against his much resented mortal physical body with its mortal physical needs: in short, Celebrimbor had noticed Sauron's pathetic struggle with sleeping and all but dragged him into his chambers, stuffed him into his pillows, tucked in a heap of blankets and even attempted to sing a lullaby! Sauron would've protested if somewhere in the middle of all this performance his mind suddenly didn't just switch off and he wasn't, in fact, fast asleep. Next morning he awoke as rested as, perhaps, never before, still tangled in a soft cocoon and with the Master of Smiths softly snuffling into his shoulder. It almost made him enraged - almost, because it was nice, entirely too nice to attempt at denying this... niceness. Since that day the two would spend every night in a same bed - sometimes Annatar's, when the evening ended with Sauron physically confiscating tools or blueprints from the smith's hands and manhandling him into getting at least a little bit of rest (those nights more often then not involved lovemaking as means of depleting the excess energy), sometimes it was Celebrimbor's, mostly when they both reached some dead-end in their respective struggles: Sauron avoiding sleep for more days than would ever be reasonable, and the smith - running out of inspiration and bright ideas and getting depressed. Those nights they would just snuggle and talk each other to sleep, and more often than not Celebrimbor would stay awake for a little longer and watch fondly how as the deeper Annatar would delve into slumber, the more his usual vigil would give in for soft and endearing features: small snores, a bit of drooling (for some reason Sauron favoured sleeping with his face smashed flatly into the pillow, which would crumple his cheeks and lips into an absolute adorable display), and sometimes bits of sleep-talking in a number of languages, some of which he had never even heard of before. One time, he'd swear, Annatar tried desperately to recite some sort of a poem while half-asleep, but words just wouldn't stick to each other - because, maybe, some of them were in Quenya, some - in Sindarin, and some, it seemed, in Khuzdul. He, however, tried really, really hard, so Celebrimbor did praise him afterwards as sincerely as he could.

Uruk don't kill Adar, but did injure him bad enough to think he's gone, and Sauron was more arrogant then cautious in that moment to actually make sure. Then Galadriel fights him, then she falls and Sauron leaves with the uruk, then the elves find and save her - but also find Adar as well and decide to take him back to Lindon, as he might be useful in upcoming war. Over some time Adar gets healed, then ✨politics✨ happen - and he would stay in Lindon as a special resident. At first he was expected to be used as a tool against the uruk (which Gil-Galad would have asked of him early on and to which Adar wouldn't agree easily, as all the previous events have, in fact, left his spirit quite broken), but later on more and more of his thousands-years-long-experience would get more and more useful. Himself, he'd be slow to adapt to such drastic changes in his lifestyle and for a long while would feel trapped and out of place - and, of course, cause all sorts of awkward situations around the court. Gil-Galad would deny it even in his mind for as long as he'd be able, but he'll quickly develop a soft spot for his new advisor. At first, while everything had been especially hard for Adar, the main emotion the King felt for him was acute compassion and pity, but as they had more and more conversations, as said conversations got deeper and more personal, as he saw more and more of Adar's character - naturally there bloomed sincere affection. Small things added greatly to these feelings, like Adar having a peculiar sence of humor (him knowing hundreds and thousands of silly jokes accumulated over the years - and never hesitating to recite some, no matter how cheesy), like him not giving two hecks about court etiquette (firstly pretending he just didn't memorize all the rules, but later learning to masterfully dodge the ones he found uncomfortable or unreasonable), and also like the direct and honest way he always interacted with the High King, never fearing to say what he thought or what might be the reaction, easily disagreeing and just as easily taking criticism, never letting Gil-Galad dodge questions just because he's of a higher status - and also never being evasive himself, not even when the topics got heavy and personal. Maybe this was the trait that contributed more than others to High King's complete and utter infatuation with former Father of the Uruk: being seen as a person rather than a figure of power. Before Adar came to his court, he all but forgot how isolated and lonely his position had made him feel over the centuries.

Celebrimbor's relationship with food is a complex one. While in creative frenzy, he would often go to the kitchen before a meal time and pick something random - first dish that he'd see, usually - to carry off to wherever he'd work at that moment. It could be the smithy, where a plate would be completely lost between instruments and some metal shavings would always get in the food. Could be his study, where said plate would balance on top of books and sketches, and some sauce or juice would definitely leave ugly stains on paper. Could also be a corner in a library, or his bedroom, or a bench in the garden - no matter the location, the plate would definitely be left there dirty for an indefinite amount of time. Yes, he'd have a thousand mugs all over his working spaces. However, while he does his work with flaming enthusiasm, those bright moments alternate with times of depressed discouragement. When in this state, Celebrimbor could either not eat at all for prolonged periods, or get insufferably picky. Every cook that has ever had a chance to serve him would have to live through this state of his as a challenge to their endurance and a dare to grow some thick skin: in annoyed Celebrimbor's eyes every sauce would be either too salty or too balnd, every spice - too hot, every piece of meat - either undercooked or completely dry, all the dishes were wring - as in not the ones he likes, and all the silverware would be placed wrongly no matter how they'd rearrange it. There is no way to please the master of smiths until his poor mood would pass and he'd find a new point of creative passion. Sauron got annoyed at those tantrums, bit quickly started to enjoy the theatrics. If he could have it his way, he himself wouldn't eat at all. A mortal body generally gives him a thousand and one unbearable problem, and eating might be the worst of them all. There isn't a single taste he finds pleasant, he hates textures and smells, hates to chew and absolutely cannot stand the sensation of stuff going through his intestines, but, alas, being physical requires sacrificing comfort. While being "Halbrand" he'd sulkily have one or two meals a day with the smiths to keep up appearances, but after turning into "Annatar" he'd hide himself somewhere discreet once every couple of days and just stuff his mouth with some Sustenance©️ of random nature - just enough to keep going, nothing more. With all that, Celebrimbor's quirky disregard for the art of nourishment made him feel weirdly validated in his disgust towards food in general, and somehow it eased this particular mortal struggle, even if for a little bit.

Celebrimbor is messy like his galloping mind. In the smithy he couldn't be bothered with putting instruments back to their places, but he'd always get grumpy if he needs something and can't find it, so over the ages the smiths developed a habit of looking after their master not only professionally, but from the point of organisation as well (Celebrimbor is also stubborn, so everyone has just accepted as a fact that - no, he wouldn't put away his things himself). For those who have been working with him for a long time this has become a part of lifestyle, something that's done automatically and absent-mindedly, but in case of Sauron - oooh, this made his eye twitch even before his grand transformation. As a part of his very nature he desired the world to get neat and organized, even if that's a small bit at a time, and the way that Celebrimbor wouldn't even consider keeping his space in order immediately got on his nerves. Sauron would later often think to himself that he might have tried to compose a sugary speech with hidden scolding, were he in his "Annatar" form from the beginning, however working with Celebrimbor for a little while he invented a passive-aggressive way of fighting this, that was easily doable even by "Halbrand": when any of the smiths would've silently pick up some discarded tool and bring it back to its designated spot, he'd take it and stuff somewhere new. At first this was just somewhere inside of the smithy, so that it wouldn't be suspicious, but as he never got any repercussions this little mischief of his gradually got bolder: other day a pair of scissors would find their way into a flowerpot or fireproof pliers get hight into a chandelier in the dining room, and each time Celebrimbor's reaction was so extremely emotional that Sauron kept doing this even after he came back. The smiths have figured this out at some point, but their master's anger on this matter was, in fact, hilarious and quite entertaining, so Celebrimbor had never found out what was going on.

Do they like the same food? Who's responsible for buying groceries and who tracks for nothing to go bad? Does any food ever go bad on their watch? And for all of the above: how do they resolve conflict if on any occasion they disagree on how to keep a household?
