I just received 5 of my cardiac meds from Mark Cuban Cost Plus Pharmacy. The cost with shipping and without insurance was $43.00. With insurance at a “preferred“ pharmacy would have been 3X that. Doesn’t seem pointless to me.

Awesome!! Looking into France more and more after this week. Having an EU passport and being able to GTFO from the US is keeping me sane for now.

I have said it before: COVID is only just beginning. Not as a crisis of ventilator shortages and mobile refrigeration units but on chronic disease. But also of extreme political polarisation, which will only get worse. bsky.app/profile/tosh...
When COVID waves hit the hospital, for every 1 COVID case, we have an increase in case load of ~5 “non-COVID” patients. It seems COVID unleashes lots of other health sequelae. COVID has only just begun: we have merely replaced a crisis of ventilator shortages with one of chronic disease.
