As soon as I hit “post” I realized I’m being so hard on TMNT because of how poorly designed the Spider-man set was, and TMNT had the misfortune of being teased right after.
I’ll still probably be turning my Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy deck back into a Katilda and Lier deck.

I don’t know what it is about this set in particular that makes Universes Beyond feel like a bridge too far. And I like TMNT!
Up til now I’ve been a UB defender, but this set has me thinking of ways to remake my UB Commander decks so my MtG shelf looks like less “slop.”
