Bonne Maman cult member here! This will be my fourth year 😂

I'd love to get one of the $$$ cheese calendars to pair with it, but the Walker's shortbread calendar is also fun.

I’m confused why I need a cazuela when I have a variety of oven-safe dishes that can accomplish the same thing?

Have I admired them before? Yes! But I don’t need one because I could serve chips with it.

I just cleared/restocked my spice cabinet so I can't take pics, but there were some jars I've been refilling since 2012 😂

As a single person who has at least 12 tomato plants every year (and wishes she had room for more, but likes to have room for other veggies too), I very strongly agree with this. The more tomatoes, the happier I am.

Strawberry jam is my default, it's probably what my mom bought/made most often growing up.

Gastropod: Longer in-depth episodes of the science and history of food.
Criminalia (with Holly Fry of SYMHC): Every episode includes a custom cocktail/mocktail recipe.
Ridiculous Crime, with Elizabeth Dutton and Zaron Burnett — "99% murder free" — often has me laughing aloud, they are very funny

My personal experience growing them won't necessarily apply, but tomato season is my happiest time of the year and I hope it brings you the same joy!

Hot dish! It was one of my favs. But I've also done a lot of bean soups: Roberto the Soup, curried green lentil, white bean, pasta & rosemary. And bean gratins, like SK's classic pizza beans or this smittenkitchen.com/2025/02/ziti...
