Ok, I wanted to avoid talking about that man in my main posts, but I believe knowing about the following (likely) possibility may be a comfort to many people.

So, this is a reasonable take from a European corporate lawyer regarding whether or not NG will profit from S3 in the current situation:
Screenshot from a Reddit post that says the following: -European corporate lawyer here Even though I'm not familiar with the details, in normal circumstances, NG would have profited from S# but I would be very surprised if he profits AT ALL under these circumstances. Why? In a post "me too" era, I'd be very surprised if Amazon (having the negotiation power it's got) didn't have strong reputation clauses included in its contracts that allowed them to apply penalties + terminate agreements with no compensation in the event of reputation issues. With that assumption in mind, my take from the situation is: -Amazon likely sent a termination notice to NG (probably even claiming for damages) in August. -TP Estate acted as a mediator to convince Amazon to keep S3 with no NG involvement. In order to do that: -Amazon might have gotten S3 rights in exchange for not suing NG for damages and NG has waived all rights for S3. -TP Estate has taken over and has all the creative control for S3.

I think good omens being continued and finished without him is a great thing and a statement in and of itself. it doesn't belong to him, we were able to distance it from him, and it goes to show that the story can still be alive without him.
