Yes, they're potential carriers of rabies and one of them bit my father 40 years ago when he had the audacity to bring the cat food in (long story, painful for man and raccoon)... but I still think equating them with crypto bros is a bit insulting 😅

Harvey shares his thoughts on his new expensive veterinary diet. (He was diagnosed with hypercalcemia this month at his annual vet exam but has no symptoms or other irregular test results, so the vet hopes we can manage it with diet... if I can talk Finicky Boy into eating the food) 😅 #caturday

I know a lot of ppl actively enjoy reading bad reviews and they can be fun to write, but these days it's rare and precious to find a group of film fans who can share opinions and chat won't devolve into insult matches over trivial issues like taste in movies. Hope I can find that group again someday

At the beginning of the month I posted about possibly doing a horror movie challenge for October/Halloween, watching 1 new (to me) horror film every night for the month. The good news is I've successfully done that so far... but I haven't really felt like sharing reviews 😅. A lot were stinkers...

Saw this encouragenent whiteboard while waiting to get my annual vaccines earlier today (which used to be an act of civic duty but now is some sort of brazen insubordination )... anyhow I'm always thrilled to see signs of another Warren Zevon fan in the wild.

I used to be an avid vegetable gardener, but in 2023-4 I didn't have the time or budget to plant anything; budget is even worse this year and there are other obstacles I won't get into, but I forced myself to buy one tomato plant. It's struggled in the heat but I finally have a few tomatoes 🍅

Happy #Caturday from Glenda, who decided to play finicky after I stocked up on her prescription diet food 😅. I suspect there's been a formula change because she's never been finicky before. (She has dry food she likes, so she isn't starving, but these companies charge too much to keep doing this BS)
