A blog post by my friend and fellow RCM researcher, who addresses the normalization of disordered eating in the music industry. A conversation that I think it long overdue
Music, perfectionism and the ultra thin – the normalisation of disordered eating — Things Musicians Don't Talk About
Eating Disorder Awareness Week might last for 7 days, but issues facing musicians around body image pressures are inherent and must be challenged

From threatening to take over Gaza, to shipping immigrants to Guantanamo, Trump is acting on the legacy of U.S. empire. The roots of that empire lie with this country’s treatment of Indigenous peoples. Bc we have NEVER dealt with that history it will keep rearing its ugly head.

Happy Banting rejection day to all! The calibre of the rejections I have received this year is extremely high, however, and I am unable to accept their rejection at this time.

I look forward to receiving the funding in September and they are welcome to resubmit a rejection in the next cycle
