Musee d'Orsay for great examples from many eras, styles and categories, Sainte-Chapelle for the glass windows, Galleries Lafayette or Printemps Bd Haussman for the glass roof dome, merguez frites. We're off in Dec so any bar recommendations appreciated, I'm hoping to find draught Christmas brews.

That beer sounds great. However, how does one run out of breweries in Belgium?

Ah, I envy you your veranda. Maybe it's not the right sort (volume?) of rain to sit by, but I love that idea of shelter whilst being outside.

That's interesting to know up front, thanks. I have that batch in a 2020-2025 series I'm lining up for a comparison when this year's batches appear in the UK. What's been your experience on their longevity?

Another upvote for Nosecco. Forgive me veering back to beers, but House of Trembling Madness in York have a great range of AF beers from across Europe, eg Belgian, that I've not seen elsewhere. Finally, kudos to @mashgang.bsky.social (esp Lesser Evil cherry chocolate stout).
