The atmospheric river from the north descended on Santa Cruz last night, video of the first hour in the late afternoon. It intensified just a bit, nothing fierce, whew. This is my home & land, my everyday joy.

#EverydayJoy I hung this little owl bell above a counter btw the dining & living rooms. I tap it through the day in gratitude for my beloveds, especially my late husband; to mark somber & joyful moments, & for luck. Tonight I tapped it for Nancy, who gave me this bell, to celebrate her birthday. 🎂
