It was 22 degrees on the day of President John F. Kennedy’s inauguration. A blizzard left 8 inches of snow on the ground. Despite these conditions, the ceremony was held outdoors. Nearly a million people came to witness the inauguration.

#EverydayJoy This year marks 25 years of yoga practice. If I’m not injured or traveling, I get on the mat daily, either at a studio or home. It’s my great fortune that I continue yoga at the edge of turning 70. Yoga is the savior of my soul, the guardian of my body, and the Zen teacher for my mind.
