It’s a problem with all Big Religion imo. The difference is that Islam has a particular hold on communities in UK where those who speak out against abuses are unsupported.

Agreed. Food supply is going to be an increasingly critical problem in the UK.
Eating less meat would help a lot. Incidentally it would make treating the UK’s sewage far simpler. Meat fat is problematic in sewage treatment systems.
Adding millions to the population won’t.
