A woman who was pardoned by President Trump for her role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison for driving drunk and killing a passenger in another car, nearly a year after the riot.

It would be fantastic if major federal institutions would acknowledge that the executive branch cannot legally unilaterally cancel or redistribute congressionally appropriated funding on ideological grounds and thus they have no legal obligation to comply with such directives

Now more than ever we must band together, we have to protect our peace so we have the energy to fight because we are going to have to fight every day for the next 4 years at least. It’s daunting and scary but I want to be on the right side of history.
