Oh that’s really cool! Apparently they start migrating when it gets really cold here in Germany, so maybe that’s how they got such a name?

Oooh I love it! Very similar to a tale of the ‘aalversupen’ or eel drowning from Fockbeck in Germany! Apparently it’s a beloved story, and there is still a three day annual ‘aalversuperdaag’ festival and an eel on the coat of arms! 🤩
