Grateful to my wood artist friend Duncan for this gorgeous redwood base for my #woodfired sculpture Aphrodite♥️ the wood grain compliments the wavy contours of the clay. It’s going to look gorgeous in its new home!! #ceramics #clay #mythologicalsculpture

Some rather hideous pictures of my arm, post surgery. 2 weeks until I can start throwing small pots again. Cannot wait. This has been a lesson in patience. If you can avoid stumbling over a brick border around a tree on the sidewalk, do that. A broken wrist is a potter’s nightmare 🌚
