I love the whole 28 X Later series, even Weeks. In some ways The Bone Temple is the boldest of the lot. Nia DaCosta thoroughly gets this material and draws out a raft of impeccable performances. Hope we don't have to wait too long for the conclusion but I suppose it'll be a couple of years at least.

I've never seen The Outcasts. This edition looks like a great opportunity to fix that.
We just did another print run of our release of #TheOutcasts, and many of you were after the now sold out deluxe edition. While we will NEVER reprint a deluxe edition that has sold out, we wanted #DeafCrocodile fans to be able to have this BEAUTIFUL art created by Beth Morris on a new slipcover!

I've never seen The Outcasts. This edition looks like a great opportunity to fix that.
It isn't really anything like the movie Near Dark but it's a Southern vampire story so that's my inevitable point of reference. Very good so far. I see the Cormac McCarthy comparison too although this book has full punctuation and quotation marks. www.goodreads.com/book/show/31...

What was the last horror movie that made you cry? Mine was Bring Her Back. It was emotional throughout but I wasn't expecting tears until a line right at the end absolutely punched me in the gut. If you've seen it you might be able to guess which one.
