I have no idea what the future for EVO is after both sides selling off or being acquired to different companies. I always feared Sony would get tired of its ownership and it was pretty quick to do so. Guess nothing really to say or do for now other than to wait it out and see what happens.

Look, I'm not sorry for gushing about Tactics. I will continue to do so, and it will be worse once I have it in my hands. Tactics is my number 2 final fantasy, and imo the best story in the whole franchise. It is my number 2 RPG period only behind FF9 because 9 is my favorite game period.

This rules for a lot of reasons, but especially because it dispels the myths that A.) old games were never political and B.) games like this are just stories, they aren't "about" anything. Should serve as a reminder to anyone writing about games why we should be close reading 'em.
