Made a recipe from the d&d cookbook. Gingerbread cookies topped with icing, walnuts, and raisens. Plus a cup of tea.

Movie of the day "Aliens". A fantastic use of the original movies themes and creatures in a new way. Very few movies have made such a large change to the franchise formula and have it work.

Movie of the day is "Paprika": a great movie that inspired "Inception" and has beautiful shots. Definitely worth a watch.

Movie of the day is "Perfect Blue"

A great film that explores the psychological stress and effects that changing life stages can have on a person. Also very aptly explores the effect that fame and idol worship can have on a performer and fan alike. Also that ending is crazy.

Should I have an avatar of the God fighting the party and it will gain special attributes for each link released? I have the below stat block and may select certain attributes to unlock. And should it heal/ gain hit points when a link is released?

My attempt of VedBread from the dnd cookbook. Turned out pretty good. The amount of buttermilk they said to use seemed a little low but might try it again in the future to tweak.

Today's screening was 2018 film "suspiria" a very interesting and well made remake of an Italian film. A little long and filled with some items that could have been removed without losing anything. But I still really enjoyed it.

Forgot to post my Saturday viewing so I'm combining them. We watched Halloweentown 1+2 for nostalgia. And then on Saturday watched "No One Will Save You" and "Haunting in Venice".

Movie for tonight is Guillermo del Toro's 1993 film "Cronos". A fantastic movie that shows his imagination and talent were present even during his first film.

Ok, just finished "Signalis". This game is fantastic. Although I have small nitpicks this game is very well done. It tells a captivating story that isn't spoonfed to you but tells a story of reality bending, abuse, overreaching governments, and suffering. Highly recommend.

Watched Pompo: The Cinephile yesterday. I have no idea how I missed this movie when it came out in 2021. But was a great movie that had decent (if not a tad quick) pacing that told a concise and compelling story.
