Beat kingdom come deliverence 1. Holy shit how did I not play this game before now. Absolutely fantastic, immersive, and gripping. I am now starting kcd2 and love alot of the quality of life improvements they have made.

I have a very real belief that the people who "want" generative AI in video games actually have no taste and just want slop to spend money on. And are the same ones that if a game actually days something or has a point call it "woke".

I have recently gotten into chess. I'm still VERY VERY NEW but it's fun. Just going through the lessons and putting them unto effect in a game. Pretty neat.

Ok, did I miss something? I go to search up hiking stuff here to find recommendations on gear, trails, and other stuff. Just to find the most horny, thirst trap, and xxx posts. I follow a bunch of artists, and even they don't horny post as much as these people.

Are there any indie game developers here who would be willing to do an interview for a youtube channel? I used to do a film podcast called Cinema Buns to show my "experience"

I don't know what took me so long to play Pentiment. But it is no stretch to say it is its own wholly unique game that is a corner stone of artistry and video games. Absolutely phenomenal, my gripes with it are minor and overshadowed by its fantastic story.

Just so everyone is aware the company gmdice uses AI art for most if not all art assets used for their products.

The Final Fantasy set for Magic looks fantastic. I love the art, the mechanics, and the cards being introduced. However, I hope they continue to put this much work in each set and not just the UB sets. I worry that they are going to phone it in for the OG magic sets.

Just got the carrier, dicebkx, and playmat holder by @heavyplayllc.bsky.social. Absolutely love these holders they save space and are easy to carry everything around. Highly recommend.

Honestly disappointed that @officialpax.bsky.social allowed games using generative AI to have booths. Generative AI is theft and laziness, if your game has it any interest I may have had is gone. I also now don't trust your company.

I spent well over a month talking to investors to get the actual data behind what’s happening to the games industry. I was going to say “enjoy!” but it’s, uh, not great.

The oblivion remaster is such a good product.

- combines the best of old and new systems

- holds the core spirit and jankiness of the original that makes it unique

- Looks great without smoothing the rough or out of date edges of the visuals

Finished playing "Sorry we're Closed" by @alamodegames.bsky.social.

A fascinating and in depth look at the intricacies and hardships of love and hard break. Also a very competent game design showing real love to Resident Evil and Silent Hill games from the PS1 era of gaming.

I did a movie podcast with my friends for about 3 years and loved it. Analyzing movies, interviewing filmmakers, and making jokes. But life has made it difficult to make sure all 3 of us watch a movie and record it every week. I'm interesting in doing something video game related.

Is Godot a good game engine to learn on? Thinking of teaching myself game dev and making something but definitely don't need unreal.

It really needs to be stated more how thanks to the emu deck program the steam deck is one of the best ways to emulate games. Seriously impressive how it makes it so easy to play handheld.

So...previous post I made about the Universes Beyond sets for magic was optimistic. But I'm not a fan of 50% of all sets being UUB. I understand why some people like it, but it hurts more when the original magic sets recently don't feel fully fleshed out.
