It’s like living in a weird liminal space because I’m not NOT okay but I’m not like… Yes I’m Good either. It’s hard to describe other than I’m just tired in a unique kind of way.

FYI, CCN is very small, very young org (launched 10 months ago) and trying hard to avoid/delay presence on the behemoth sites (Amazon, FB, Insta) 😅

I’m shutting down this Quarantine Cages campaign, but FYI here’s Cat Care Network’s ongoing donation page: donorbox.org/ccn-help-us-...

THANK YOU! 🙏

The first day was rough but she is eating and drinking again as she recovers. She hides in her cubby but isn’t aggressive. So by all markers so far, she’s doing ok. It’s just so much to go through.

Oh noooooo and what in the hell is that tack and harness situation??? If you don’t know, don’t *guess.* They wouldn’t need stirrups if they’re pulling a wagon… the reins attach to the mouth for steering, a horse would never pull a whole-ass carriage with its mouth. What a mess.

We did weigh and name them. The littlest guy is 200g behind the biggest boy (despite original ID, they are ALL boys), but he’s active and bright eyed, so I have high hopes for his future.

Meet the Hobbits: Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin.

Frodo and Sam are, like their namesakes, always together. /2

Agribusiness scale or small hobbyist scale?

It’s partly on me— their foster also does dogs rescue and is a busy guy and they have taken a while to come around, so they haven’t gotten as much exposure as they should with everything else going on since July ;-;

Yeah Capstar is super super safe even for tinies :3 even though the box says 2lb, it’s extremely safe to give at 1lb (and I’ve even given a crumb of a quarter tab to guys under that who were too fragile to bathe).

They are definitely big enough for half a Capstar each and that will do a ton of the heavy lifting of the flea situation!

Oh bless their little fever coats ;-; Any chance to loan neighbor a trap for mom?

No, she needs to rest most of all and she has some medicines on board that could affect negatively them if they go to nurse. She might feel too protective or even overwhelmed by them. The babies could also potentially mess with her stitches. It’s just one less thing for her to stress about.
