I'm really not interested in new movies much anymore. Especially since it all became a right wing playground. And if Paramount/Skydance ends up with Warner Bros, I think I'm done until some trust-busting is done, or at least til the idiot is out of office.

Getting my 5th tooth extraction today. This one is gonna be replaced by a bridge with the two surrounding teeth in a month or so. In the past I got 2 replaced by implants and 2 were back molars, so I just didn't get them replaced by anything.

Bought some Criterion 4Ks from the current sale. Upgraded from non-Criterion DVDs of Three and Four Musketeers and This Is Spinal Tap. Added Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio and Vittorio De Sica's Shoeshine. Both of those take place in fascist 1940s Italy, oddly enough.

I never got to ride Steel Phantom, but it's successor, Phantom's Revenge remains one of the best coasters I've ridden. And I've ridden 277 of them. This is a great documentary on both coasters.

This weekend's film watching has a theme. Mid-to-late 70s kids and teens misbehaving. 3 of these movies are favorites of mine. I have yet to see Over The Edge. Watching Detroit Rock City is also being watched in tribute to Ace Frehley. RIP

Well shit... Probably the most talented member of Kiss, and definitely the most entertaining. Had gone through long periods of drug and alcohol abuse that by the 2000s had affected his guitar playing somewhat, but he was so cool back in the day.

This place is hard to come to lately. So I don't. My mental health can't take it. I know things are bad. I don't need every post getting me more anxious and depressed about it. So I'm going to avoid here for the foreseeable future. Should do that for reddit too...

I was planning to cancel my Netflix finally, but now that Elon Musk is ordering people to because he's pissed a show that was cancelled 2 years ago had a trans character, I'm gonna keep it for now.

Helps that people are looking at ways to cut costs too because prices are so high. Wanna punish Disney AND save money? Cancel Disney+! Heck, add in a PBS streaming subscription and help them out and you make a statement and it's still cheaper than Disney+ was!
currently at record-high search interest for canceling disney plus. pulling kimmel is a bigger deal to the company's bottom line than any of the "woke" scandals of the past 5 years. i think news & entertainment corp execs need put more work into understanding their audience, & get off twitter
