Canadian 🍁. Too opinionated about how much late stage capitalism sucks to be employed by a Big 5 bank. Teaching Canadians how to interpret financial news and plan to build a future that works for them. Opinions are my own.

Ahh, the Conservatives will never miss an opportunity to shift taxes from corporations to working-class Canadians.

Cancelling the industrial carbon pricing system would be a disaster for Canada's international trade, hobble local innovation, and expensive for all of us.

Seriously, Green Party voters, I know he's not your guy, but I think you would be incredibly impressed by Mark Carney's desire to turn your vision into a reality, using the systems and markets we have available right now.

Mark Carney's literally been the first chair of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero; heavily committed to green energy for years now.

This is the part I don't understand the most. There's literally nothing of the "Progressive" part of the conservative party left anymore. It's just social conservative, Reform Party, rage baiting and othering left. That can't actually be what Canadians want, is it?

Hey disinformation fighters, two facts about the recent CSIS report on election interference:

1) While focused on Carney, the report was issued due to the "coordinated and inauthentic" amplification of the stories, not the content.

2) The stories were not necessarily strongly pro- or anti-Carney
April 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM
If you've read the report, which I can see from your post you haven't, you'd know the report focuses on the "inaccurate and inauthentic spread" of news is the focus.

The WeChat articles themselves are not necessarily strongly pro or anti any party, but facts hurt your chosen narrative, I get it.

Do people really still have money invested with this perennial loser?

"Don't think this was foreseeable"? Literally all you had to do was pay any attention at all and manage the risk. You know; YOUR JOB!?

The people of Lethbridge have a chance to turn a page on 90 years of failure by the Conservatives to represent their people on a national or local scale later this year, with a candidate who holds deep local experience. I hope they're paying attention.
