Yes! They are New York Style. My recipe makes a bigger bagel I bet: 520g bread flour, 1.5c water, 2.75 tsp instant yeast, 2 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp brown sugar (or barley malt syrup). Everything else the same. Have fun! I'm making them @ once every 10 days.

A recipe I used from The Bread Baker's Apprentice nearly did in my KitchenAid Pro mixer. Now I use Sally's Baking Addiction recipe that makes only 8 bagels at a time. Yours look good, though. Bigger, stronger mixer?
