Today's wine: great textbook carmenere. Very pleasing notes of black fruit (plumb, blackberry) and spices (pepper, nutmeg), perhaps a slight hint of tomato leaves & secondary aromas. Has smooth tannins. In my opinion, a very good red for wine beginners, it's easy to drink (tested on my friends!)

I enjoyed it as much as I thought I would. Expected nothing less from López de Heredia. Would recommend with all my heart!
