To my fellow therapists, therapy is political. Seen a lot of posts about not bringing politics into therapy, but the current state of politics affects the vulnerable ppl we work with. Choosing to ignore politics and systems of oppression and their effects on our clients is its own political stance 👀

I see this take a lot and this is just a reminder that we shouldn’t vilify felons. Especially when it disproportionately and unfairly affects BIPOC ppl. We SHOULD villainize him for being a wannabe dictator and rapist tho
