Is there much evidence that this would meaningfully increase birth rates? Many of the countries with the lowest birth rates already have relatively good welfare systems.

The "single opinion" she shares with Trump happens to be the main political cause she has championed incessantly for the last several years

The underlying technology is inherently non deterministic and randomised, which makes it bad at solving numerical problems. “Reasoning models” work around this by writing scripts that run the calculation, which usually produces the right answer, however it is much more resource intensive

Do they actually see your credit card or is it just a Stripe transaction? If it's just a stripe transaction then that seems much less invasive than the others

EHRC says it's lawful to exclude trans people from any single sex space if it would distress cis people. So in theory a trans man could try, but they probably wouldn't get very far
December 4, 2025 at 7:39 AM
It is, but it’s actually even worse than that. The guidance says that not only is it unlawful to have trans inclusive single sex spaces, it’s also lawful to exclude trans people from ANY single sex space if their appearance doesn’t align with their sex assigned at birth

This has never bothered me tbh. Cool, I get to try a new weapon

C style arrays are indeed a nightmare. However, std::array and std::vector are better and cover almost every use case that arrays used to cover. Using traditional arrays is usually only necessary to interface with C or legacy code.

His purpose was to neutralise the left wing of the Labour Party and ensure right wing control of the country, and so I would say he’s actually been quite successful

Corbyn has many limitations as a politician, but any analysis of his time as Labour leader has to acknowledge that he faced extraordinary institutional resistance from in and outside the party. We should expect something similar to happen to Polanski - but obviously, there are differences as well.

I don’t know how to explain to you that it’s easier to win elections if your leader is popular
October 14, 2025 at 8:39 AM
In this specific case, Starmer was able to win against a fractured and unpopular right wing incumbent, despite being less popular than previous Labour leaders.

However, in general, it’s easier to win elections consistently if your party is popular.

The EHRC required Labour to set up an independent complaints body specifically because Corbyn’s factional opponents were dragging their feet over antisemitism complaints in a cynical effort to exacerbate the scandal

This happened to Labour under Corbyn too, they never forgave him for it
October 13, 2025 at 5:33 PM
I read the article and I think they are arguing that mainstream parties should become even more right wing
September 26, 2025 at 8:51 AM
For me it’s the way that the Green Party participated in the ratfucking of the left in 2016-20. Polanski seems nice, but what protects him from being Corbyn’d?

“Many shooters also play games as a hobby” well yeah. So does literally everyone. I bet they watch a lot of Marvel movies too. Probably listen to rock music

It’s always been a bit crap. It’s a bigger deal in ER because I found the bosses much more tedious to fight normally. If From wants to keep moving in this direction, they would be better served with a more traditional difficulty setting imo.

This was also the problem I had with Elden Ring’s spirit ashes. They completely break that game’s AI.

Ofcom only allows specific forms of age verification to comply with the law. They are listed here: www.ofcom.org.uk/online-safet...
Age checks for online safety – what you need to know as a user
As of 25 July 2025, all sites and apps that allow pornography will need to have strong age checks in place, to make sure children can’t access that or other harmful content.

This one Dril tweet in December 2023 was a more accurate depiction of actual events than anything you’d have got off newsstands, from broadcast media or out of the mouths of politicians. It hasn’t got much better since.

You think, “How is it possible?” And then you try using it, and you think “Oh.”
