London 1970’ photography showed Steve McQueen exhibition #Margate: protest themes that sadly do not change much. ‘Women of strength: voices of struggle’ as Angela Y Davis put it in his keynote speech some years later. Happy #IWD25 and let’s keep raising our voices of both strength and struggle

The loudest megaphone: how Trump mastered our new #attention age. The more easily something attracts our attention, the lower its #cognitive load, the less friction there is for us to be drawn to it.

The whole discussion was bonkers, but I was particularly focused on looking and decoding both of their body language, faces and these pictures kind of speak by themselves, just missing a few moments in which Zelenskyy crossed his arms #trumpzelenskyy

I was reading -are we capturing memories or are we purposefully designing them? There’s talk of the "Instagram Generation," in posting perfectly posed pictures with the right amount of nostalgic filtering, are in fact architects of their future memories- what #Kanheman would have said ?

#GABA, the off switch of the #brain: a new social lubricant without the hangover? It's crazy (or fascinating) how, despite being social creatures, alcohol seems to be a ‘requirement’ to reduce anxiety and feel relaxed when we socialise :/

www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...
‘Gaba is the off switch of the brain’: Is it also the answer to better sleep, sobriety and less anxiety?
Products that enhance the uptake of this neurotransmitter are burgeoning - including drinks that mimic the effects of alcohol, without the hangover. Here’s what happened when I tried them

Still on the love reflections…Just read an eye-opening article @theguardian.com about #parentalburnout. I can finally see that I went through it. Exhausted, emotionally drained, and overwhelmed. Then Covid hit, and therapy became essential. Parenting is tough love, too.

www.warc.com/content/feed... a shame that Binet and Field’s lessons about the long and the short need a constant reminder: #Brandbuilding creates lasting memories (that influence subsequent behaviour).

Activation provokes immediate action (without the need for long term memories). #lesbinet
Marketing still seen as a cost centre for companies | WARC | The Feed
A majority (54%) of business leaders in the UK and Ireland still see marketing as a cost centre rather than a revenue generator, a study from performance agency KINESSO UK&I has found.

I’ve always found public affection, particularly on social media, questionable:this constant need to display your relationship publicly annoying. It is indicative of insecurity/doubt #neuroscience #love and only social media exacerbate our vulnerability, yet again
Why Valentine's Day is annoying
Today is Valentine's day, another day celebrating love and romance. People tend to like those things. So why does a day dedicated to them annoy so many?

No, Elon Musk didn't put a chip in anyone's brain, and we should not be terrified
The Guardian has published an article about the first person to have a chip put in his brain by Elon Musk, and asks, should we be terrified? Except, he didn't. And we shouldn't.
