I know nothing about Chinese characters, but I'm pretty sure he's vaguely named after the plant. Sang Yan is 桑延 as far as I can tell from subtitles. Sang Ye is 桑葉 which is what they call mulberry leaves (for tea?). The second characters are incredibly similar. That scene is in the novel, though.
Can someone explain to me why Sang Yan’s symbol is 🍃 ? I know why Wen Yifan’s is the ❄️, but I just haven’t seen anyone explain Sang Yan’s symbol.

As time goes on, I'm just more and more convinced stores don't want to sell things to me. I cannot believe I waste an hour digging through the clearance section at a store to try to find a size that would actually fit me to just get up to the front and both pairs were full price.

Watching a OW streamer react to "Mourning Overwatch" (on YT) is interesting. They're so deep in denial about the game and player base, as they're in the very top % of comp. They play like it's their job.
Meanwhile, they're currently streaming Marvel Rivals.
