When really surely what needs to be changed is how England work with & value the only competition in this country that gives them the proper experience of how to play long format cricket. Let the England players play it for a start!

Sharing a mini rant on the Jamie Smith dismissal. All in all I’m not too upset at England’s efforts today, they just are not capable of batting long and that is something that was not going to be fixed between Brisbane and Adelaide.

Adelaide has to be one of my absolute favourite grounds in the world. Made all the more beautiful by a red ball and a *proper* Test match played only under natural light.

I’m nowhere near qualified to disagree with McCullum, but nevertheless this is a silly thing to say given the state of the series.
If England do not drastically improve immediately, every newspaper will lead with this quote when the time comes for heads to roll.
