You're right, and it always scares me to see any large event where it's possible to drive through the crowd, but I don't think anyone could have imagined how many people were going to turn up & how they would spill across the streets. The same incident could have happened in many places that day.

Fantastic. I'd forgotten all about this. In fact my memory is getting so bad you could probably just use last year's list. Looking forward to it anyway, again, maybe?

It's about time this issue was tackled. The city centre around Queen Sq and the old tunnel is blocked solid on a regular basis. The buses are fighting for space with cars going in & out of the car parks. People won't change to the bus if it's stuck in traffic. Hopefully this will address it.

Yes, I see that as a sleight against me and a very large part of the population... we knew how stupid it was before it happened and the only thing that's happened since is that we've been proved right.

Surely as they'd all be calling for deportation, or worse, if it was an immigrant, they will all be calling for the same for all drug users and dealers, whatever their colour or nationality.

Amazing isn't it.. 5 days in hospital with burst appendix - 2 CT scans, all antibiotics and painkillers, an MRI scan as they thought they saw something on the CT scan, follow up appointments after 6 months - cost to me, nothing. If we ever lose the NHS, it'll be a tragedy!

Was just going to say this... love the BBC, comedy, quizzes, documentaries, radio series etc... but I stopped watching / listening to BBC news before the Brexit vote and won't go back.

Absolutely this... once everything is worthless they'll buy it all up, and as it slowly climbs back to some sort of normality they will become richer and richer.

We had a school rebuild around 6 or so years ago... not one single energy or water saving system incorporated in the build. This is something that should be mandatory on every new building, from houses to hospitals.
