Behold the babcaccia! Inspired by the hot chocolate focaccia in 3 Doughs, 60 Recipes and the jar of “anytime you have enriched dough you can make babka” dry mix in my pantry. It is non-dairy and smelled pretty damn good baking.

Purple Dewdrops on Alien Ferns.
Yarn is assorted stash leavings, the beads (dewdrops) are standard pony beads. It’s a wall hanging that looks like a forest on an alien planet.

For the first run I used a store bought non dairy kosher frozen rolled pie crust which I discovered when I moved to the west coast. Farmer’s market blackberries and apricots. For Shabbat dessert tomorrow.

We also allowed the sales clerk to upsell us on just the mini puzzle shapes (without their earrings) to wear on the titanium sleeper hoops that I wear in all my lobe piercings. I got a pair in purple and in green so that I can properly rep @geekcalligraphy.com. Purple seen in this photo.

Specifically, the puzzle earrings. Husband Shaped creature suggested that we check to see if there was a flagship store in Rome. Spoiler alert, the answer is yes. So now I own my first piece of fine jewelry since my engagement ring and it is this set.

This year, thanks to the fact that the formal ball gown I bought her for her auntie’s second wedding still fits. So with the purchase of a crown and wand, we have a Glinda. This picture is from the wedding, Purim isn’t until next week.

For the second year in a row, Monster’s Purim costume is made up of clothes she already owns along with some purchased accessories. Last year we managed to recreate October Daye from the cover of Sleep No More with a green dress and hand me down fake leather jacket. All I had to buy were the ears.
