It's disconcerting how many Americans, even some of the more media literate ones, don't get how seriously Canadians are taking the threat of annexation. You can even point it out to them and they will gloss over it, like it's not a big deal.

This probably means I'm a dupe, but it will never cease to shock me how lightly so many people hold what, by all appearances, would seem to be their strong opinions.
